London 2012 Olympics, managed to get tickets for the Men's Team Archery Quarter finals/Semi finals/Finals matches and medal ceremonies for 4 of us!
A LOT of photos were taken, mostly trying to capture the moment where the arrow had just been released using a 300mm lense and the motor drive in the camera (which I think takes 6 frames per second!) This was one of those shots. The following one, which can be found at [link] succeeded in capturing this moment! Usually one frame he was holding the string, the next the arrow was already out of frame! (Which just shows how fast the things move!)
This was the quarter final match between Italy and China - Archer pictured is Frangilli Michele for Italy. Italy won.
