Long overdue update!

Look everyone, it's still alive!
Sorry for the distinct lack of me doing anything here! I would say I'll try to be more active over the next few weeks, except I'm going on holiday on Wednesday for 2 weeks, and don't know what internet I'll have! But AFTER that I'll try! XD
So how is everyone anyway?
So a bit of update, and then a meme because says so, and I always obey my Master (eventually!) ;D

So, I have a new part time job in the stockroom at Next locally - I'm quite enjoying it at the moment, and the managers are defintely more helpful and constructive than in my previous job! They were lovely people, but if you did something wrong, you got shouted at for it, and if you did something right, they ignored it. Here, I was given a reward giftcard for having good results and being helpful in the stockroom and in general around the different departments! Big improvement!

Still applying like crazy for graduate jobs, and for jobs that are nearer to Jemiyah, but everyone seems to be ignoring me at the moment. Because of course that's what everyone wants, isn't it?! >_> Seriously, applying for jobs is one of the most disheartening things I've ever done... Going to the jobcentre made it so much worse, but yeah...

Thank you everyone for the birthday messages! I had a couple of days out for my birthday - Jemiyah took me to see John Simm in the Hothouse, which was AMAZING! BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVARRRRRR XP And then I had a family day out to Warwick castle, including seeing a trebuchet being launched twice - the second time with a fireball, which was incredible!
This year was the year of the debenhams voucher XP Seriously 5 seperate people gave them to me! Also had a new iPod (old one was dying!), tickets to go and see the Doctor Who prom in July, a locally done picture of one of the local villages, where a Tom Baker story was filmed which includes him in the TARDIS, a dalek and various other silly things!, mint condition versions of the Doctor Who stamps from earlier in the year (to go with the first day covers I already had!), copy of Les Miserables on DVD and Paul Hollywood's Bread recipe book! And a ficcy from mah Mastah in addition to our day out!

3) What is your dream?
I don't really have a specific one... I just want a job that I can enjoy and will support me and Jemiyah, somewhere nice to live with, and a cat around the house! That's all I need...

Cracking my knuckles (and other joints), not putting things away, leaving the place very untidy... (Although I would like to add that the kitchen is exempt from this, because I do not want an untidy and therefore unhygenic place to prepare food!)

Fairly quiet until you get to know me, not a big fan of crowd situations, but will cope fairly well if I have to... If I find someone who is willing too, I will have long nerdy conversations with them X3

I like my eyes, and I do feel more confident about my body now I've lost a bit of weight, and am taking medication for the evil acne of doom...

12) What do you look for in a husband/wife?
Someone who has a weird sense of humour and appreciates mine, and will laugh at the stupid things I do (but in a good way!) Someone who will enjoy my many baking and cooking experiments, and will help me try out new recipes. Someone who is perfectly happy to cuddle up in front of Doctor Who/Lord of the Rings/Harry Potter/other awesome film/TV series all day eating cake/ice cream/other things to make us ridiculously hyper XP Someone who puts up with me when I'm a stressy arse and will tell me that I'm being a bum... Someone who likes that I'm a completely mushy mushpot, and when I do mushy romantic things and is one too. Someone who likes snuggling and snogging all night, but also understands if I need them to back off for a little while... And someone who does awesome RPs with meeeeeee XP (So basically Jemiyah then? Yeah, that's about right XP)

13) What is your favorite movie that has come out in the last five years?
The Hobbit, Skyfall, Fright Night, Toy Story 3, Despicable Me, Megamind, Brave are the ones I can think of off the top of my head that came out in the last five years...

Besides the obvious of Jemiyah? ;D In terms of celebrities though, John Simm, David Tennant, Viggo Mortensen, Derren Brown, Aiden Turner,... (Actually, I could have just copied Jemiyah's answer and it would have been accurate... XP)

15) What are some embarrassing moments you've had?
Well now, that would be telling ;D

16) What secrets do you possess?
Well if I told you, it wouldn't be a secret, would it? XP

17) What sort of music do you like?
I like most music that is actually musical XP (as opposed to things like rap) but particularly like Nightwish, Evanescence, Within Temptation at the moment... and a load of other bands to be fair, but those are definitely my favourites right now. Also adore movie soundtracks! Need the Hobbit one...

18) What books do you like?
Oh all sorts, when I'm not busy doing the umpteen other things I enjoy doing, I speed through books! But I like the Harry Potter series, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, any Star Wars books by Timothy Zahn, the Alex Rider series, Artemis Fowl, anything with dragons in it, anything by Terry Pratchet, anything by Neil Gaiman (I need to read more by both of them actually!), most science fiction or fantasy related things...

19) What is your ideal date?
Weeeeeeeell that mushy evenin' at the spa with dinner that I took Jemiyah on was pretty perfect, I think ^/////////////////^

20) If your life were a movie, who would you cast to play you?
Well when I was with my family the other weekend, someone told me I looked like Anne Hathaway, so I guess it would have to be her? Although why someone would want to watch a movie of my life I'll never know... I suppose the spontaneous fencing matches with cardboard tubes might be a laugh XP
